The Magnum R Silver is machined from solid silver and finished by hand at the STEX workshop in India. Its makers spent more than twenty years in the copper trade before making their first pen.

No. The cap of the Magnum R Silver isn’t made to fit on the end of the barrel, so set it beside you while you write.

A German Schmidt steel nib, with a Schmidt converter for bottled ink. Medium is standard; Fine and Bold are also available. Schmidt nibs are smooth, reliable and easy to replace.

Any bottled fountain pen ink, using the Schmidt converter, or a standard international cartridge when you are travelling.

Keep it capped when you are not writing, use fountain pen ink only, and flush the nib section with clean water every few weeks or whenever you change ink.
