STEX jotters take standard refills from Schmidt, available from most stationers, so a jotter can stay in use for decades.
Copper that ages with you
Like every copper STEX pen, a jotter darkens to a deep brown with use. Keep it bright with an occasional polish, or let the patina grow.
Jotter, roller or fountain pen?
A jotter is the pen you keep on you: slim, light and quick, for the notes you write standing up. A roller pen gives a darker, wetter line for letters and longer notes. A fountain pen is the one for the desk and the journal. Many STEX owners keep a jotter in the pocket and a fountain pen at home, and the D’Magno is made as all three.
