Astakona

25 pens · Pre-order

Eight sides of Mughal gold.

A square-shouldered pen in 22-carat gold plating with an 18-carat solid gold nib and deep black enamel, paired with an engraved gold-plated ink pot.

The story

Astakona carries the geometry of Mughal art and architecture onto the desk. The octagon, repeated and interlocked, is cut into a pen with square shoulders.

The pen is plated in 22-carat gold, fitted with an 18-carat solid gold nib and finished in deep black enamel. It comes with an engraved, gold-plated brass ink pot that weighs 450 g and holds 30 ml.

The name is the shape itself: astakona, the eight-sided polygon.
